Surviving and thriving in a post-apocalyptic wasteland is hard, and if Rust is any indication, the apocalypse will be filled with people running around naked and 12-year-olds with bad mics. However, when you can truly immerse yourself in Rust, it’s a wonderful experience until you lose everything to a griefer.
If you’d like to avoid having these kinds of things happen to you when you play Rust, then you may have considered using hacks to give yourself a bit of a breather. In this series, which we’re calling Cheat Profiles, we’re going to discuss a few different ways you can configure and use your hacks to match them to your play style.
The Scavenger is one of the more peaceful cheat profiles, and it isn’t exactly focused on fighting as much as it is on building. The key feature of this cheat profile is a loot ESP that allows you to easily find all of the supplies that you need so that you can get to higher tech levels with ease.
A loot ESP will make it easier to find scrap caches and chests as well as resource nodes that you’ll need to mine so that you can make more advanced gear. The scavenger may also use an enemy ESP so that they can make a quick escape when they see that enemies are coming near them.
The Raider is a PvP focused cheat profile that’s a good fit for players who like to grief others and steal the supplies that they’ve been harvesting. Some might argue that this is a quicker way to make it to the top of the food chain because you’re relying on everyone else on the server to do the hard work for you.
The most important part of The Raider’s arsenal is an accurate aimbot, preferably from an internal cheat set to ensure that it’s as responsive as possible. The Raider will also need either a radar hack or an ESP so that they can more easily find their prey and take their things.
The Paranoiac is someone who always needs information about other players’ whereabouts to ensure that they never get snuck up on or surprised. The most important thing for a Paranoiac is a host of ESPs of different types, including an enemy ESP, a loot ESP, and even an ally ESP.
However, the sensory overload doesn’t just stop with the ESPs, since the Paranoiac will also likely want some radar hacks as backups to their ESPs. This will allow the Paranoiac to keep tabs on everyone in the server and to keep themselves safe from griefing.
The Mutant is a wildcard cheat profile that uses a few eccentric cheats to traverse the map with ease and to hide their identity. There are two major hacks that are in The Mutant’s arsenal: the skinchanger and the Spider Man mod.
The skinchanger allows the mutant to change the look of their player, either looking more or less threatening than they actually are. Meanwhile, the Spider Man mod allows you to swing from wall to wall, easily infiltrating enemy bases and moving around the map quickly.
