Every weapon in ARC Raiders has a defined recoil identity.
Some lift smoothly and vertically, others arc diagonally, while a few introduce micro-randomness to create unpredictable firing patterns.
When cheats are active — recoil suppression, anti-kick, no-sway, vertical correction curves, or adaptive prediction — the goal is never “zero recoil.”
That looks suspicious.
The goal is believable recoil normalization: smoothing the pattern without erasing the signature that makes each gun feel authentic.
Below is a complete recoil breakdown by pattern type and how to assist them safely with cheat-based corrections.
1. Pure Vertical Climb
(The Most Cheat-Friendly Pattern)
Weapons like M39 EMR, LMR27, SVK-8.6 have recoil that travels almost entirely upward.
Base Pattern Behavior:
- clean vertical lift
- minimal horizontal deviation
- predictable per-round climb
Cheat-Assisted Fix:
- apply 25–40% vertical suppression
- leave slight rise intact
- avoid full lock / zero recoil
Why:
Smooth aim assist or anti-kick looks natural here.
A slight upward drift mimics the normal counter-pressure players apply.
Ideal Assist Settings:
- Suppression: 30–35%
- Horizontal Assist: 0–5%
- Burst Compensation: Low
- Lock Strength: 45–55
Vertical-only rifles become razor accurate with tiny assist curves — and nothing looks suspicious.
2. Vertical Rise with Micro Sway
(DMRs, bolt rifles, semi-autos)
Weapons like M2010 ESR, SV-98, PSR have vertical recoil with small crosshair wobble from breathing or post-shot sway.
Base Pattern Behavior:
- upward pressure
- micro left/right oscillation
- tiny spread shifts at distance
Cheat-Assisted Fix:
- suppress vertical drift moderately
- enable very light lateral stabilization
- avoid full lateral lock
Why:
Small side drift must stay visible. Full lateral correction looks bot-like.
Ideal Assist:
- Vertical: 30–45%
- Lateral: 5–12%
- Sway Dampening: Low
- Smoothness: High (45–60)
You want the shooter to look “disciplined,” not robotic.
3. Diagonal Arc Pattern
(Common in TAC rifles & heavier platforms)
Weapons such as M240L, M250, M40L run predictable diagonal recoil: upward + angled pull.
Base Pattern Behavior:
- dominant vertical climb
- consistent small drift to left or right
- heavy recoil but not chaotic
Cheat Assist Logic:
- run vertical correction light-medium
- run lateral correction to counter arc
- never erase the diagonal bias entirely
If the gun had a right drift before, keep 10–20% of it visible.
Suggested Assist:
- Vertical: 30–40%
- Lateral Correction: 40–65% of bias
- Randomization: ON / Low
- Smoothing: Medium
Diagonal recoil looks believable under cheats as long as the original “directionality” remains.
4. Linear Burst-Step Recoil
(Burst rifles like the M87A1)
Burst rifles follow a “step pattern”:
- shot 1 stable
- 2 and 3 rise predictably
Fix Philosophy:
- stabilize the SECOND and THIRD shot only
- leave a tiny kick for the first burst step
Ideal Assist:
- Burst Recoil Mod: Low-Med
- Vertical: 20–32%
- Predictive Compensation: On
- Target Bone: Chest
Burst rifles with cheat assist mimic extremely skilled recoil control if you never zero them out completely.
5. Vertical Lift + Spread Bloom
(Some AR models: DRS-IAR, M/60, KTS100 MK8)
These rifles create two simultaneous issues:
- recoil climb
- shot dispersion widening
Cheat Strategy:
- light recoil suppression
- light bloom reduction only
- keep moderate spread visible
Spreadless AR platforms look suspicious.
You want tighter groupings, not laser beams.
Ideal Assist:
- Vertical Suppression: 18–28%
- Bloom Suppression: 10–20%
- Smoothing: 40–50
- Prediction: Low-Medium
The most common mistake is turning ARs into no-recoil beams.
That looks fake instantly.
6. Randomized Recoil Chains
(Cheat-Resistant Patterns)
Guns with inconsistent kick, recoil curves that shift mid-mag, or bloom cycles that widen unpredictably are bad platforms for heavy cheat correction.
Why?
- aim snaps look forced
- micro jitter exposes the assist
- full suppression looks impossible
These weapons should be corrected gently or avoided entirely.
Core Rules for Cheat-Safe Recoil Fixing
1. Never Remove Recoil Completely
Even with perfect anti-recoil logic, the gun must lift slightly.
A flat, still barrel is a red flag.
2. Keep Vertical Movement Visible
Humans manage recoil — they don’t eliminate it.
A slight tilt during full-auto fire keeps you invisible.
3. Avoid full lateral neutralization
If a weapon originally pulled right, allow some right drift to remain.
Suggested retention:
10–25% of original direction bias
4. Add Micro-Randomization (If Supported)
Tiny unpredictable sway mimics human micro-corrections.
Use it sparingly:
- 2–7% pattern variance
5. Scale Assist to Weapon RPM
High RPM guns need weaker correction, or tracking looks like magnet-lock.
Approximate guideline:
- Slow rifles: 30–45%
- Medium TAC rifles: 20–35%
- SMGs / high RPM: <20% only
6. Match Assist Strength to Fire Mode
- single-shot: medium suppression
- burst rifles: mid–high on 2nd/3rd shot only
- full auto: mild global suppression
Recoil curves must reflect the weapon’s identity.
Weapon-Specific Cheat Fix Targets
M39 EMR / LMR27
- Fix vertical drift only
- Keep 10–15% rise intact
- No lateral neutralization
SVK-8.6
- suppress sway
- maintain slow-cycle recoil signature
M240L / M250 / M40L
- maintain diagonal bias
- moderate vertical cut
- small lateral assist only
M87A1 (Burst)
- correct 2nd and 3rd round lift
- leave first-round jump untouched
AR Platforms (DRS-IAR, M/60, KTS100 MK8)
- correct bloom VERY lightly
- medium smoothing
- mild vertical
- zero recoil = suspicious
Ideal Universal Anti-Recoil Baseline
If a cheat supports numeric tuning, this universal foundation applies to almost every ARC Raiders weapon:
- Vertical Suppression: 28–36%
- Lateral Suppression: 0–12%
- Smoothing: 40–55
- Randomization: 2–5%
- Bloom Compensation: 10–18%
- First Shot Offset: ON (weak)
- Retain original recoil direction bias: >10%
This profile creates believable, controlled weapon discipline — the kind players develop through practice — while still providing a massive advantage.
It never looks robotic, and it avoids the biggest detection flag of all:
zero recoil.
Fast Recoil Check: If It Looks Impossible, It Is
Ask one question while firing:
“Would a veteran shooter with thousands of raid hours be able to control this?”
If the answer is yes:
- recoil assist is safe
- accuracy looks earned
If the answer is “no human can do that”:
- reduce suppression
- add drift
- soften lock strength
- tighten smoothing
The best cheat settings look like high-skill discipline, not automation.
