The latest New World update was on May 3. This fixed several bugs related to crafting and also had some weapon balance changes. The names of deleted characters were also unlocked so that they can now be used on new characters.
The latest April version of New World to drop is 1.4.1. Some bugs that affected main quest progression were fixed, meaning experiencing the rich story of New World is now possible again.
Update 1.3.2 has arrived for New World, and it includes changes like fixing the inconsistent unlock messaging on higher Mutator levels. Another problem that was fixed was that equipment couldn’t be upgraded if you had your storage open and there were Umbral Shards in your storage.
The January Update for New World was the most recent one, and it marked the addition of Expedition Mutators. There are 10 different difficulty levels of Expedition Mutations, and you can climb through the levels to make things harder on you. The update also introduced Umbral Shards to New World.
New World Update 1.2.1 was launched on December 21 with the goal of fixing some of the issues that arose in the game after the December Update. The issues that were fixed included problems with how Restricted Coin Lockboxes worked as well as reducing the number of characters that can be created in a day to combat glitchers and money sellers.
New World has seen a drop in player numbers since it launched, and that means that Amazon has been forced to merge servers. This is evidenced by the latest update, 1.1.2, which is setting the framework for server merges. Other than that, the update was pretty sparse and it didn’t feature much in the way of anything concrete.
Update 1.0.5 for New World came out on November 4th, and it mainly focused on combating coin sellers and fixing a few of the game’s duplication bugs. Players may be happy to hear that the respec cost for attributes has been reduced by 60% and weapon mastery respec cost has been slashed by 75%.
New World is finally here, and people have been waiting for it for quite a long time. It seems like it’s been forever since a new MMO was released, and we’re not talking about games like Fortnite or Apex Legends, which may have massive player bases but certainly don’t have the hallmarks of typical MMOs.
Up until now, players have been pretty wary of New World because it’s being developed by Amazon Game Studios, and they don’t necessarily have a great track record. The majority of the games that the studio has developed have been canceled and it seems like New World is going to be the first game to actually get released.
New World is an interesting step for Amazon Game Studios, and it’s also a pretty ambitious first project for the nascent game development studio. The game is set in Aeternum, which is a fictional island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, positioned between Europe and North America.
In the game, you play as a survivor of a shipwreck who has washed up on the shores of Aeternum to find that everyone else on their boat ended up turning into evil, almost undead creatures. The game throws you into a tutorial in which you have to fight your former shipmates.
Once you make it through the game’s tutorial sequence, you’ll then be able to get into the game world itself and start doing some exploring. Like prior MMOs, New World features plenty of quests that will keep you busy, but some players have criticised the quests for being pretty uncreative.
Regardless, the game also features an in-depth PVP system that allows you to seamlessly transition between flagging yourself for PVP and keeping yourself in PVE mode. There are also player-run communities and structures that are tied into the faction that you’re playing for.
The game’s PVP will probably be one of the main reasons to stick around due to the relatively uninventive grinding that tends to be typical of MMOs. Amazon isn’t turning the gaming industry around with New World, but it has definitely created one of the most refined MMOs we’ve seen to date.
Is this game the WOW killer that everyone has been looking for? Probably not. Is it worth your time if you’re a fan of MMO games? Most likely. The PVP-heavy nature of New World makes it an excellent choice for cheats, especially due to the game’s more immersive combat system compared to other MMOs.
New World’s anti-cheat is mainly designed to intercept bots that are used to farm currency and experience. The game uses Easy Anti-Cheat, also known as EAC. This anti-cheat system is one of the more popular ones on the market, and it’s pretty refreshing to see that Amazon hasn’t opted to develop their own anti-cheat.
Even though EAC is used to combat bots, it’s also pretty adept at spotting hacks due to the company’s in-depth databases. This makes it a little harder to develop hacks for New World but that doesn’t necessarily make it impossible to do so, as you can see by the hacks that we have on offer.
As with any other game, the anti-cheat software featured in New World isn’t the only thing that’s used to ensure that the game is difficult to hack in. Community moderation plays a big part in making sure that people get caught when they cheat, so it’s typically a good idea to do what you can to minimize how much other players can see of you cheating.
