There hasn’t been a May update for Warzone Pacific yet, but the last update was on April 27. This made changes to the Caldera map and nerfed a lot of sniper rifle weapons. All operators also had a base health increase, but their health regeneration was decreased.
Warzone Pacific is going strong into Season Two: Reloaded. The latest update for the game was on April 6 and fixed some bugs, mostly related to the description of items.
The March 3 patch for Warzone Pacific has made a few balance changes to make things a little more difficult to purchase. For example, Armor Bundles are 500 more, Gas Masks are 1000 more, Cluster Strikes are 1000 more, and Self Revives have also seen a 1000 point boost in their cost.
While we haven’t heard much about what we can expect from the second season of Warzone Pacific, a few leaks have given us some idea of what to expect. One leaker mentioned that a seasonal event will introduce convoys, gas weapons, and bunkers to the game. Redeploy balloons are also expected.
Warzone Pacific hasn’t seen any major updates since the holiday season started, though this is to be expected because devs deserve vacation time too. Activision has mentioned that the flow of updates will start again very soon now that we’re into the second week of the new year.
Warzone Pacific is finally here with the launch of COD Vanguard’s first season, and we’re finally able to take the fight to Caldera. There are over 40 new weapons available in Warzone and even a new Gulag to fight in once you’re killed. We’ve even seen some changes to Rebirth Island.
Call of Duty has seen many iterations, and since the release of the original Warzone mode, the game’s battle royale component has been a standout feature. Part of what has made Warzone more popular than games like Black Ops Cold War is that it’s free to play, allowing a much larger audience to access it.
While it’s easier to grind weapons using the multiplayer component of COD games, Warzone still lets you progress within its own systems. However, Warzone was originally released alongside Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and the game is now getting a little bit dated, especially when you look at the Verdansk map.
Warzone has always been known for having a large number of hackers due to the game’s free to play design and its challenging gameplay. Call of Duty has traditionally had its own anti-cheat system since they moved away from off the shelf solutions, and up until now, it has been known as COD anti-cheat.
However, COD anti-cheat wasn’t working well enough for Activision to stand by it, so they’ve gotten to the point that they’ve developed an entirely new anti-cheat solution for Warzone Pacific. With the release of Season 1 of Warzone Pacific and COD Vanguard, we’ll see the launch of RICOCHET anti-cheat.
RICOCHET is a new anti-cheat initiative that takes a more aggressive approach to combating hacking in Call of Duty, and it does so by taking a multi-pronged approach to preventing cheating. RICOCHET has introduced new tools that are hosted server-side to ensure that cheating is more difficult than ever.
