If you want to succeed in PUBG, you have to know the right loot to pick up, and attachments are a huge part of the game. In this guide, we’re going to take a look at some of our favorite attachments. We’ll look at what makes them great and which weapons you should use them on.

Suppressor

As with many games, a suppressor is a key tool that lets you silence your weapon, and in battle royale games, it becomes extremely useful. Being able to hide your position will allow you to survive for longer since you’ll be hunted by fewer enemies, but there are some other benefits to PUBG suppressors.

For example, your recoil deviation will also reduce when you equip a suppressor, making your weapon a little bit more controllable. Suppressors are useful for all weapon classes, but the best ones in particular are assault rifles and sniper rifles.

4X and 8X Scopes

Getting the drop on your enemy is the best way to ensure that you get a kill on them, and using a sight will allow you to spot them further out. The best sights in the game are the longer-ranged ones like 4X and 8X scopes, allowing you to engage your targets at a longer distance without any trouble.

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of a scope will be limited by the max range of your gun. It makes sense to use a scope with an assault rifle or a sniper rifle but you likely won’t find yourself equipping one on an SMG.

Vertical Foregrip and Half Grip

Both of these attachments allow you to make your weapon more controllable by cancelling out some of the recoil that you feel whenever you fire. There are a few key differences between the two that make them suitable in different situations, however.

First off, the vertical foregrip will only cut down on vertical recoil and will allow you to aim down your sights faster. On the other hand, the half grip will allow you to cut down on both vertical and horizontal recoil while also increasing the speed at which your aim resets from recoil.

Extended Mag, Quickdraw Mag, and Extended Quickdraw Mag

Having a larger magazine will reduce how frequently you’ll have to reload while a quickdraw mag will make those reloads a lot faster. Each of these magazines is designed to be balanced with one another to ensure that they all retain some form of relevance and you have to put some thought into what you’re going to use.

For example, the extended mag will give you the largest possible magazine size while the quickdraw mag will give you the best reload speed. While the extended quickdraw mag used to be the best choice flat-out, that’s no longer the case.

This is because the extended quickdraw mag has been rebalanced to provide you with an increase to mag size and reload speed that isn’t quite as high as the bonus you get from the other two.
